Braun's research revealed that with added challenges and environment stressors, men are struggling with their skin more than ever before, and that over half of all men feel that they are being held back by their skin. Most significantly, more than 50% of all men across the globe are being held back by sensitive skin, with more than one in three men naming spots, dryness, and redness being their biggest sensitive skin concerns.
In a separate survey, Braun found that 79 of US women think it's very important for the men in their lives to appear well groomed, while 44% found scruff the most attractive facial hair style for 2017. Knowing this, men are likely to style their facial hair, even in sensitive areas and with their sensitive skin concerns.
